Is Obama weak towards Muslims? While Muslims are openly hating the USA, and just killed the US ambassador to Libya!

This is an unfortunate turn of events, which hopefully will jolt the occupant of the White House to action! The American Ambassador to Libya was just killed by a Muslim mob, enraged by a movie purporting to scandalize their Allah.

Is it not amazing that civilized Western Christian nations are tolerant towards Mulstims while Muslims openly hate and persecute Christians? For example, any muslim who convert to christianity is charged with apostasy and earn a usual death sentence for the conversion.

A mob has attacked the Benghazi compound of the US Embassy and has killed the US Ambassador and three other Americans!See Washington Post: US Ambassador killed.

Obama should now give a warning to the enemies of the USA that its patience has been tested severely. But will he do it? For example, he has done nothing forcefully towards Iran while restraining Israel. The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel may attack Iran by its lonesome, without the support of its ally to prevent the Iranians from developing nuclear weapons. He even suggested that the Obama administration does not possess the "moral right" to forestall military action by Israel towards Iran.

The Secretary of state, Hillary Cinton, has made a public announcement that the United States will not impose or set a deadline for Iran to drop its nuclear program!!! Naturally, the Israel prime minister correctly replied that absence of a red line, the Iranians will surely develop a nuclear bomb.

A troubling question: Is Obama a closet Muslim?

What has Gaddhaffi done for Libyans?

Circulating in facebook is a list of 16 accomplishments of Gaddhaffi (chadaffy, khaddafi) which the reader is challenged to deny:

What the late dictator has done for Libya:

  1. There is no electricity bill in Libya; electricity is free for all its citizens.

  2. There is no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens at 0% interest by law.

  3. Home considered a human right in Libya – Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home. Gaddafi’s father has died while him, his wife and his mother are still living in a tent.

  4. All newlyweds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinar (US$ 50,000 ) by the government to buy their first apartment so to help start up the family.

  5. Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25% of Libyans are literate. Today the figure is 83%.

  6. Should Libyans want to take up farming career, they would receive farming
land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and livestock to kick- start their farms – all for free.

  7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they need in Libya, the government funds them to go abroad for it – not only free but they get US $2, 300/mth accommodation and car allowance.

  8. In Libya, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price.

  9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0. 14 per liter.

  10. Libya has no external debt and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now
    frozen globally.

  11. If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation the state would
pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until
    employment is found.

  12. A portion of Libyan oil sale is, credited directly to the bank accounts of all
    Libyan citizens.

  13. A mother who gave birth to a child receive US $5 ,000

  14. 40 loaves of bread in Libya costs $ 0.15

  15. 25% of Libyans have a university degree

  16. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the Great Man-Made River project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country.

Of course in return for these "blessings", the former dictator vigorously opposed any form of public dissent and supported state terrorism, the grosses example being the Lockerbie PanAm and Munich restaurant bombings.

But we pass on giving judgment to the late Khaddaffi. We only hope that the above listed benefits are continued by the new administration in Libya. Long live Libya and the Libyan people!!

Foreign nations to intervene in Libyan fratricidal war.

The Libyan government of Col. Muammar Khadafy used tanks, and figther planes in dislodging rebels from towns. Now it is focusing in Benghazi, the largest held rebel area.

But the recent vote of Security Council of the the United Nations to institute a no-fly zone in some parts of Libya has emboldened even France to do some military action real soon!

Obama has spoken: Libya's Muammar Gadaffi has to go!

It is difficult to be a superpower today as the U.S. of A is, when other nations has outstripped it spectacularly in terms of growth in almost all good indicators.

Obama, the president of the US of A has already made a pronouncement: the 42 year reign of the dicator Col. Muammar Gaddafi has to end. You can be sure that whereas before, the USA can make the decision alone, this time it has to consult its western europe allies and other friends (including Philippines, we hope???!). Even the U.N. has gotten into the act by slapping sanctions against Libya.

Of course, from our nationalists point of view, this is just a world domination of a first world country. But lets face the facts: a lot of our people are working abroad because of failed or even absent local policies. With a high population growth rate, the Philippines is at the mercy of world events.

We take this opportunity to praise an unnamed French construction company for successfully sending home its Filipino workers back home to the Philippines safe and sound. We hope the crisis in Libya will end and the hardworking workers will have the chance to go back and earn precious money to feed growing families.

Chaddafi has done a lot to improve the lives of his countrymen, but he has ruled for so long!
Rememeber the saying "Event the Greeks get tired of the best!".

We hope Chaddafi listens, not because the US of A tells him to but to prevent futher bloodshed and violent suffering on his countrymen.

A foreign military overthrow is out of the question, such event may trigger terrorism in scattered Islamic countries.

And we hope extremists in Libya , who have kept quiet, will not gain the fruits of the people's revolution.

The Obama dilemma. Shall the U.S. intervene or not?

The recent violent response of government authoritis in Libya has magnified the repercussions of the personal behavior of Gaddafi. He has reportedly threatened to sabotage oil installations in the country and to bring force, even using machine guns! to quell the demonstrations in Benghaszi sad even in the capital of Tripoli.Dead bodies are scattered in the streets and the whole Libyan scene is that of disarray.

Obama, as the president of the most powerful country in the world is in a quandarry. Shall he intervence or not in the affairs of the country? The past history showed that the U.S. will not shy away from confrontation with Libya. Witness the Gulf of Sidra affair where aircraft of the U.S Navay doffighted with aircraft from Libya over the safe passage in international waters near the Libyan coast. The best course of action is to consult with the Western Allies, making sure that current events in Libya will not lead to more catastrophic disruptions and greater sufferings of the Libyan people.

Near end of 40 year long strongman rule in Libya?

Col. Muammar al Gaddafi has that uncanny ability to cling to power for around forty years in oil rich Libya situated in North Africa. What with security apparatus to kill off opponents, even kill unarmed civilians in Benghazi and Tripoli with machine guns and aircraft bombing(WTF!), long time supporters, even from the military are starting to abandon his reign. Even he has to (fend off)fight off rumors of him escaping to Venezuela!

His personality may be tolerated but deep in the hearts of Libyans, the populace wants a taste of freeedom, no only the simple tasting of evil alcoholic drinks, but freedom to speak out, to create arts, to write novels, etc., freedom from hunger, freedom even from the sharia laws. (but Libya do not cut off hands of robbers).

We hope the end may not be more violent. After pulling off a coup against the royalty of King Idris, Gaddafi may face the prospect of being forced out by ordinary unarmed citizens of Libya!
His son is adamant that they can use excessive military force to preserve the government.
