Fact or fiction? Were Iranian reactors compromised again by a sophisticated worm/virus?

I was amused when I read this item from gawker.

The new worm is not shy in making its presence felt. In fact it is loud! It plays "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC at full volume at any time of the day. How effective is it?
It is said that an Iranian nuclear scientist wrote a Finnish computer security export that their nuclear program has been compromised and that it has shutdown down their automation network at Natanz and another nuclear research facility Fordo near Qom.

It sounds crazy and we hope it is just that or the cyber warfare may escalate into a real war between Iran and it avowed enemy state of Israel. We are curious how a virus which play back loud rock music can immobilize a sophisticated nuclear reactors. Something deeper is happening and we are out of the loop, we cannot know what the virus is really doing.

Hope this attack will make both Iranians and Israelis rock together for PEACE!

Excuse me, it is those critical lawyers who should be disbarred in search for chief justice

Humor:

The most current opposition to the submission of Leila de Limas for Chief Justice comes from lawyer Atty. Rico Paolo Quicho, who served as Corona's defense counsel during the impeachment trial. Said he:

We cannot cherry-pick our morality. The same lofty legal and moral standards that were applied in unseating a chief justice should likewise be bases in naming a new one.

She does not possess the qualities of competence, integrity, probity and independence as made apparent by the facts surrounding her two disbarment cases,

Two disbarrment cases were filed against de Lima. One, by Attorney Agustin Sundiam, castigates De Lima of publicly encouraging the bashing of Corona. The other, by Attorney Ricardo Rivera, meanwhile, wanted her disbarred for her defiance of a Supreme Court-issued temporary restraining order allowing former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to travel abroad late last year.

I believe that their plea to have de Lima disbarred stems from de Lima's principled stand against the Corona Supreme Court. I believe that de Lima has made the right choice of DISOBEYING an UNJUST Temporary Restraining Order. Recall, that GMA wanted to travel abroad for the seeming purpose of seeking medical help, when the medical expertise can be simply found here! No, de Lima was justified in suspecting that former president GMA was scheming to escape to an unnamed foreign country without an extradition pact or treaty with the country!

May I suggest instead that the Supreme Court, which can discipline lawyers should instead look beyond this opposition to de Lima. In hindsight, these lawyers simply do not want to lose TWICE over the Corona affair. One for the quilty verdict against against Corona, the other for stopping de Lima nomination as a candidate for Supreme Court Justice because de Lima served as witness against Corona. de Lima actually has shown high standard of MORALITY.

In other words, we are suggesting that opposing lawyers to de Lima, should be the one disbarred for one crazy reason: SPITE. :)

Was Arafat poisoned by his enemies?

Arafat (1929-2004)was a leader of the Palestinian Liberation Organization and Al Fatah and we are disturbed by the recent revelations that he could have been probably poisoned by a radioactive substance Polonium 210. If this is true, then this is NOT the first time a radioactive subtance was used to assasinate enemies of a state. For example, a Russian defector Alexander Litvininko was poisoned by Polonium 210 most probably sprayed into a teapot.

Although Arafat was labeled a terrorist, their activities may be part of their aim to create a separate Palestinian state and to work for the destruction of the Jewish state, Israel. Yet in his later life, he mellowed and in fact won a Nobel prize for peace, together with Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres of Israel, for the successful peace negotiations at Oslo in 1994!

His death was attibuted to idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura and cirrhosis of the liver.

Al Jazeera in June 4, reported that his widow called for the exhumation of his body as his last personal belongings contained traces of the dreaded Polonium substance.

So far only Russia is suspected of using Polonium to assasinate presumed enemies, but we are NOT suggesting that it was the Russians poisoned Arafat! The man might have enemies aside from Israel and even the U.S.

The Gods are not smiling on De Lima as Chief Justice

We are amazed at the confident public posturing of Leila de Lima, the current Justice Secretary and former Chairperson of Human Rights Commision (from 2008-2010). She has been vocal in asserting that she is very qualified, that she has and had shown independence, and has the moral courage to stand up for what SHE believes is right.

It is this frankness and upfront character of de Lima which rubs off on her critics. They want a Supreme Court Chief Justice who is quiet in temperament, abhors the limelight and someone who is not so close to the President. These characteristics of de Lima should have made her turn down her candidacy to the vacant Supreme Court Chief Justice position!

It is clear that de Lima's detractors cannot find a more valid and weighty reasons for the unsuitability of de Lima!

So let us just wait for the Judicial Bar Council to do its job of pruning the list of candidates, a list which the president himself can IGNORE! It is not de Lima who has shortcomings as Chief Justice, but it is her critics who have fallen too low to the point of making disparaging remarks about the acceptance of nomination by the Justice Secretary.
