On Henry Sy

We paint two pictures of Henry Sy, whose company is in the news for removing pine trees in Baguio:

Here is a grouped comments which nearly floored me:

  1. Charge every customer for parking
  2. Hire the employees as temporaries and lay them off every six months)Most employees are reputed to be members of a certain sect where strikes against employers are not allowed.
  3. Build a church near or even inside(!) your mall and donate it to the Catholic diocese
  4. Overwhelm the cities with a bank branch every street corner
  5. Retain remittances in your banks even though they have cleared so you can keep the earnings and interests

Of course, businessmen dream to be the next Henry Sy. Is there a tinge of envt in the comments?
